It is the very nature of the castle, set within a monumental complex, to stand apart—visibly acting as an alert sentinel, a secluded residence that becomes a romantic inspiration for a new vision of eco-conscious living. With the sea before it and the woods embracing it, these two elements form the foundation of a restoration plan aimed at creating a true balance between the coast and the hinterland. As the Piccaro Park stretches out behind the castle, the project for this 400,000-square-meter area must embrace these influences, giving life to a way of living in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature and the sea at its feet
Overview
This Class A4 building stands out for its high-tech efficiency and superior comfort, featuring an underfloor heating system integrated with fan coils for optimal climate control during the winter-to-spring transition, as well as air fan coils for summer cooling. The heating and cooling systems are powered by an independent heat pump, while domestic hot water is managed by a second, dedicated unit. The entire property features smart home automation to control the climate, shading, entry codes, and video intercom, with the flexibility to add further services like alarm systems. Safety and design are ensured by motorized doors with key overrides and Schüco window frames, using "Minimal" profiles for the large glass surfaces on the front and traditional profiles on the rear, including specialized thermal glazing for the penthouses.
